The Privacy Policy at Daily News Alert is our way of assuring the safety and accuracy of our users' personal information. As a user the only information other users will be able to see is your user name, which doesn't have to be your real name.

To sign up to the site the only information we ask you to provide is a username, your e-mail address, first and last name, a password, date of birth, gender and zip code. The last three are used solely for Daily News Alert to have information for demographic purposes.

How We Use Information:
We keep all our users' contact information private and never sell, rent or lease this information to others. Information is never shared with third parties. Other users can click on your username and all they'll see is when you joined, how many stories you submitted, how many of your stories were published, how many comments you've made and how many stories you've voted for. No personal information will be shared.
